Unrelated. Baylor just Hired Jim Grobe as an interim coach. Last seen at Wake Forest. Not surprised that it wasn't Phil Bennett but Phil could have done the job if it weren't due to connections to Shawn Oakman

To keep it on topic, yes - do wander over to the HQ and see what tidbits of info are to be had. I believe Jason Williams from the enquirer is going to be there.

Back o.t.- I think Baylor hired him because there is still some question of the other coaches' involvement with the situations, and they're seen as *tainted* but haven't any justification to get rid of them. Grobe is known to run a clean program and has some relationship with Briles I've heard.

Why can't there be a Big 12 Network and keep the LHN? Pooling tier three rights and going after Fox with the allure of broadcasting Texas road games where possible. The league needs to know it can survive WHEN Texas leaves.

I'm going to go with Chip is right. There won't be expansion because there aren't enough votes. Whether Chip's sources are any good is questionable on this one because they're within The U of Texas framework.
