        • Looks like Oregon St and Waazu are trying to ensure they get paid from the Pac 12. They're trying to take over the Pac 12 board. ($)

It makes sense for all involved - a chance for the P2 to get enough games for a decent schedule, and a little more
time to make long term plans, and a little more $$$ and potential upside for the MW. - i hope it works out for them all

Wow! If you look at the history of that conference, from what it was to what it is now is just incredibly sad.

I think that's a jump in Division for Delaware unless they moved up previously. They're usually an FCS powerhouse.

Yes, the Blue Hens play in FCS presently. They're in the Coastal Athletic Conference.

And, the two year period between moving up before bowl game and BB tournament appearances are allowed begins. I hope that they hover around .500 until 2026, lest we have the consternation a la JMU FB this year and Bellarmine BB two years ago.

There was a reason for the two year moratorium, but I don't know what it is. But if there's a true desire to change the rule, at least change it in the off-season and not in-season, as is always suggested in these cases.

                        • The MWC and PAC 2 have signed a scheduling contract.

I think they gist of this is that the PAC 2 need to legally carry the PAC name and membership to get paid their distributions from the conference. If they just straight up jump conferences, they lose the payouts.

                          • AAC commissioner Mike Aresco is retiring

                            • Mr. Aresco always seemed like a good guy. He fought the good fight for the Power 6 conferences. He's probably just tired of fighting an uphill battle.

I thought moving the BB conference tournament to Texas was a mistake, though.

                              • He had a tough job trying to keep a conference together knowing that there were a handful of teams with 1 foot out the door.
