The College Sports Commission looks like they're running the NIL show now.

Which is conveniently the beginning of the fiscal year for UC (or at least it used to be)

Also, multiple sources report that the new CSC CEO will be Bryan Seeley, who has worked for MLB. At least some of his duties have involved investigations.

Feds indict former Michigan co-offensive coordinator Matt Weiss

    https://www.detroitnews.com/story/ne...s/82570832007/

Matt Weiss, the former University of Michigan co-offensive coordinator under Coach Jim Harbaugh, was indicted Thursday in a case accusing him of hacking into the personal accounts of thousands of college athletes and stealing intimate photographs and videos.

The federal indictment alleges Weiss gained illegal access to a database of student-athletes at more than 100 colleges and universities that were maintained by a third-party company. Weiss is accused of downloading personal information and medical data of more than 150,000 athletes and using that information to obtain access to the social media, email and cloud storage accounts of more than 3,000 athletes and download personal intimate digital photographs and videos "that were never intended to be shared beyond intimate partners," federal prosecutors said Thursday.

Also: I think this is likely only going to apply to this coming season unless NCAA gets kicked out of court again, which seems likely .

Even CWM mentioned Day Day in the paper (Enquirer) today. I suspect many of the bigger schools will once again use the JCs for a minor league to stash and season players. Per my first post, I outlined a few thoughts and I suspect some will happen. UC has been blessed with JC players.
