Here's a bit of a headscratcher ... ACC-bound SMU just fired Rob Lanier after two seasons. Following a rough year one, SMU had 20 wins and was a top 60-75 team this year.

Will Wade, Eric Musselman, Steve Lutz are some early names I have seen mentioned

I hope the SMU AD at least let Lanier get out of Terre Haute before letting him know.

I think this will go one of two ways. There's a somebody lined up to take them into the ACC or they'll claim he was a bad cultural fit. When I said I have a bad feeling about this, i suspect it might turn out to be the latter.
