The Bearcats received excellent pitching and knocked off the Cougars again, 4-2. UC now are 29-21 (15-11). The series finale is Saturday at 1:30 ET.

The Sooners are on the verge of winning the regular season title after destroying Baylor, 13-2. OK are 19-6 in B12 play.

With four B12 games left for the Cats, they are guaranteed to make the ten-team conference playoffs in Arlington. Both BU & TTU are tied for 10th with 16 losses.

This is off-topic, but I see that Indiana State are #9 in the NCAA baseball RPI. I wonder if they have Cream Abdul DiMaggio? [I'll go back to sleep now.]

The Bearcats launched four early homers en route to a 12-5 win to sweep BYU. UC have a regular season final series at home versus probable #1 seed OK starting Thursday at 5:00.

Before that, UConn will visit for a Tuesday morning first pitch (11:00).

The Cats now are 30-21 (16-11 in B12 play) and alone in 5th place, pending the outcome of the Mountaineers' home game with K-State tonight. If WV would lose, UC would move to 4th alone by a 1/2 game.

UConn scored a run in the top of the 5th to go up 1-0. The Cats then loaded the bases with no outs in the bottom half of the inning. And then the rains hit and the game was abandoned; no contest.

The regular season will come to an end this weekend when the Sooners show up (also rained out at XU today)..

^^I didn't even know it rained today? I should pay more attention to the weather. I know that it sprinkled a little bit in the morning but that was it as far as I know.
