I don't think this is accurate. Yost said he wanted to hear back from the NCAA by 10/27, and he did. The matter is still under review by the committee that handles these appeals. Yes, the season is rapidly approaching so time is short. And yes, the NCAA does not seem to be in any hurry for any matters pending appeal of eligibility.

@creid85 on Twitter/X said the AG Yost was on WLW and said the Aziz Bandaogo appeal should be decided by end of the week; supposedly did not sound confident and is preparing a class action.Comment

Jamille Reynolds just tweeted “This one hurts. Make it right!”
Could be as simple as not being cleared for tonight. Possibly could be related to an official decision from NCAA.Comment

I think it was about not being able to play last night. The waivers are still under appeal according to several sources.Brent Wyrick

Apparently, the NCAA denied both of the waiver appeals for Bandago and Reynolds. I'm not sure where this is headed, short of possible litigation.Comment

If the NCAA is comprised of all college ADs and coaches then this latest news comes as no surprise when considering the two latest recruiting classes the Bearcats have accrued. And accomplished without any improprieties, then the afore mentioned people, especially those of the greatest bball conference in the nation, are not going to allow some newcomer to that conference, one with bball tradition, come in and disrupt the proverbial apple cart. You can't take the chance of having the highest paid college bball coach ( Self ) with the ink on a new lifetime contract still not quite dry, be showed up. That's just another example of our being " bounced" That's how I see things.Comment

So does Justin Williams. We knew it, we’re not North Carolina.
